We are going camping! Woo hoo! Not yet, in a couple of months, but that still counts for all the excitement now. Usually I am all over the summer plans, but this time we just got around to it. It seems that between being busy and trying to figure out the whole new schedule with my work, I have not been thinking about summer as much. Mostly I've been thinking about what to do with business in the summer and what day of the week would be better to schedule events.
But couple of days ago I decided that it's time to book something! So now we are going to Emerald Lake State Park campground in Vermont. We are going to stay on a lake and they have kayak and canoe rentals too. It's all right there and it should be beautiful! The pictures looked great, can't wait! It's a little far, I think a little more than 3 hours away so we are going for 5 days!
We are going after I teach a class on Thursday and we will come back on Tuesday. I am avoiding scheduling anything for Fridays and weekends during the summer. Last summer people were not too excited about coming to things on Friday and I also want to be able to enjoy a weekend without working. I am hoping I'll be able to take advantage of that whole self-employed thing :)
