So the monkey started his new school yesterday. So far, he likes it. He actually seems very serious about planning his time of "learning nothing". He told me yesterday that he had a good day, started to make some new friends, and seemed in good spirits in general. He was excited that the kids there play Magic Cards and so he brought a box or two of his own today. He also found that they have a pool table. He said he spent some time playing on computer, some time drawing, and some time watching other kids play Magic Cards.
Because this is such a long a drive, I have stayed in the area for these two days. Yesterday I did a little shopping and then went to the library and today I've been at the library the whole day. I got some work done both days so it's been very productive. Tomorrow I have to come back home in the morning because we have his evaluation appointment. Thursday honey will take him to school so I can go to a marketing event with Beverly Chamber of Commerce, and Friday I have to come back again because I have a client, so I think honey will be picking him up. Busy busy.
